Methane capture at cattle farms.
Engine oil recycling.
Carbon capture and sequestration.
A project that is aimed at capturing Methane gas at cattle farms using state of art Metal-Organic framework (MOF) Materials, and the subsequent production of energy from it.
A commercial model was created with private sector investments that will have significant returns for farmers and a quantifiable positive impact on the environment.
We sourced, on behalf of our clients, access to critical MOF technology from CD-Bioparticles, and set up a research collaboration with partners at Virginia university.
The target is to produce power using methane ( collected from the cattle farms) as feedstock for Methane direct fuel cells at low temperatures. The process converts methane directly to electricity at 80 °C and generates five times the power of any previous low-temperature direct methane fuel cell. The HKUST-1 MOF was the chosen MOF as the filter medium. The fuel cells are expected be deployed at industrial scale within 6 to 8 years.
Project Description
Mondapro sourced and facilitated the plantations of the Paulownia trees in Egypt and Iraq. Project over 8 years with optional renewal for consecutive 30 years. Investors from both countries were connected to farming societies and agricultural research laboratories.
Paulownia trees have one of the highest capacities for carbon absorption among other trees species. The project covers more than 60 tons per Hectare per year, with plantations covering 100,000 hectares. The sought for production is 49 m3 of wood per year per hectare.
Project Description
On behalf of multiple automotive servicing franchises in the Middle East and Europe, we sourced a partnership with a leading industrial provider of recycling technology and waste management expertise (Christof Global Impact) to develop an industrial system of automotive engine oil reconditioning for multiple usages.
Technical Description: Double Separation Technology
The concept is based on making the used oil more sustainable and usable while generating byproducts using the Double Separation Technology (DST). The concept is backed by an appropriate logistic setup for collection and distribution and enabled by our network of automotive servicing franchises in Europe and the Middle East.
